MI vs. RCB in the season opener The BCCI announced the schedule of IPL 2021 in the first half of this month. The tournament will be played at six venues due to COVID-19 cases in the country. All matches will be played at neutral venues to avoid home advantage to any of the teams. Defending champions Mumbai Indians and Royal Challengers Bangalore are set to play against each other in the opening game in Chennai.
